Bill Murray – wife beater?
Comedian Bill Murray’s wife of more than 10 years, Jennifer, has filed for divorce.
In documents filed May 12 in a Charleston, S.C. family court, she accuses him of “adultery, addiction to marijuana and alcohol, abusive behavior, physical abuse, sexual addictions and frequent abandonment,” the Charleston Post & Courier reports.
According to the six-page filing, she claims the funnyman abused her on more than one occasion during their marriage.
One time, the document claims, he “hit his wife in the face and then told her she was ‘lucky he didn’t kill her.’”
She is also seeking a restraining order banning him from her $3.65 million home and is asking the court to determine if their premarital agreement is valid and enforceable. (If the marriage is dissolved and the premarital agreement is made a part of the order, the Courier reports, he would have to pay her $7 million.)
They have four children.
His rep could not immediately be reached for comment.
