Kristin Davis09 feared she would be dead by 30 if she didn’t quit drinking.
The actress has spoken openly throughout her career about her battle with alcohol - which she gave up at 22 following a stint in rehab.
Davis, 43, insists her heavy drinking nearly destroyed her, and she is convinced she wouldn’t be alive today if she hadn’t kicked her addiction.
She says, “I really didn’t think I would pass 30. I drank a lot when I was a teenager. I had a fatalistic viewpoint. I miss it (drinking). You don’t go to rehab and then suddenly it goes away.”

I’ve only had one drink in my life and it was no big deal (blech, actually). I don’t understand how people ever get addicted to something that tastes so bad.
