Shia LaBeouf is trying to get his dad out of his garage
Shia LaBeouf is struggling to evict his dad from the garage of his Los Angeles home.
Vietnam veteran Jeffrey LaBeouf spends his summers living in a teepee in Montana and his winters staying with his movie star son – but this year the actor’s father has yet to move on.
And the Transformers star admits he can’t bring himself to kick his dad out.
LaBeouf, 21, says, “We’ve got this little air mattress set up for him. It’s very comfortable. But now it’s not winter anymore and he’s still there. But I can’t go there and go, `Hey dad. Listen it’s time to go back.’ I can’t make him leave.”

Shia is strange. It is like everything that he says and does makes no sense. First the Walgreen’s incident now his dad lives on an air mattress in his garage, how is this normal? You can’t bring your dad inside and let him sleep on an actual bed or even a sofa?

i agree – he’s such a big star that he can’t help his dad. it sounds like papa labeouf has issues.
while i’m posting here i just want to say that i don’t get the shia labeouf thing. he’s ugly; almost creepy ugly. bleck!

ARE YOU FRICKEN KIDDING ME!? IF YOU ACTUALLY SAW THE INTERVIEW YOU WOULD KNOW HE WAS J O K I N G THE WHOLE TIME! He even went on to say that the “little people” from the Wizard of Oz build his mom a little tiny Troll house under a bridge! Hello, people the whole thing was a JOKE! It was supposed to be really funny, which it was!

Actually, I saw this whole interview with Regis and Kelly and these articles are totally taking it out of proportion. Shia’s father chooses to live in a teepee in Montana, and Shia was only joking about asking his father to leave. He said that he and his father are slightly territorial, and considering that his father is a HUGE hippie he probably PREFERS sleeping in the garage (closer to nature, yeah?).
Props to Danielle, this whole thing is absolutely ridiculous!
