What the crap was up with the Desperate Housewives finale last night!? (SPOILERS)

On Sunday’s season finale of Desperate Housewives, the show flashed ahead five years.
The highlights:
–Susan (Teri Hatcher) apparently isn’t wed to Mike (James Denton) anymore. She is seen entering her house and calling out, “Honey, I’m home” — to a mystery man!
–Bree (Marcia Cross) is a star caterer and author of a cookbook. She also is back on with her husband Orson (Kyle MacLachlan).
–Gaby (Eva Longoria) is now a mom: Her two little girls are seen playing with her makeup and her clothes.
– One of Lynette’s (Felicity Huffman) twins, who are now teens, gets arrested for stealing a car.
– Katherine (Dana Delaney) is elated because her daughter Dylan phones her to tell her she’s getting hitched.

All I can say is WTF. It was a really weird way to end a season I am just glad they told us what happened to Dylan I was tired of it being drawn out. Did anyone else thinks Gabby’s daughters looked like they didn’t fit?

First of all, I thought the man that Susan came home to was Kathryn’s 2nd husband.??
And yes, I thought one of Gaby’s daughters looked much older than 5 years (and this is supposed to have been 5 years later) – and they looked fat and slovenly – not like Gaby at all!

Deb, the man that Susan came home to was not Adam. He is Gale Harold from Queer as Folk and his character’s name is Ken.

ok, i know this is a long shot, but i was thinking maybe they were setting us up and Susan is and actress or something and they were just showing her in a tv show/movie…….come on, her and Mike have to make it!

Since it’s already well established that Gabby can’t have kids I assumed that her and Carlos had adopted the two girls, obviously not as infants though.
