Scarlett Johansson prepares for her album release

Scarlett Johansson and her music producer have described her singing style as “Tinkerbell on cough syrup”.
The starlet, who is best known for her appearances in films such The Other Boleyn Girl and Lost In Translation, is releasing her album of Tom Waits covers this month.
Anywhere I Lay My Head will feature mostly Tom Waits tracks and an original song entitled Song For Jo.
Speaking about her first foray into writing, Scarlett said: “It was a memory of someone that’s very close to me: a vague and blissful memory of my wanton youth or whatever. It’s a song about friendship, I think.”
The album will also feature a guest appearance by David Bowie who will provide backing vocals on two tracks.
However, the actress-turned-songstress does not appear fazed by her first musical release, telling People magazine that she has “nothing to prove”.
She adds that she is not worried about whether her movie fans will enjoy it, although she hopes people will.
