Jessica Simpson calls Tony Romo irreplaceable

Jessica Simpson & Tony Romo

Us Weekly reports in its latest issue that Jessica Simpson is calling Tony Romo her “future husband.”

Now, she tells the June issue of Glamour, that she is “in love” with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, whom she says helped her gain more confidence.

She says she even wrote him a song, “Back in My Old Boots.”

“He reintroduced me to myself,” Simpson says. “I thought that I had to be deeper, more profound and more artsy. You change with the guys you date.

“Tony taught me that because he loves me [as me]. He made me feel comfortable [being myself] again,” she adds.

She dismisses critics who claimed she jinxed his career by showing up at one of his football games that he lost last year.

“Everybody takes everything out on me! But that was ludicrous,” she says. “I don’t understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No.”

She says Romo first caught her eye while she was going through her divorce with Nick Lachey.

“My family and I were watching a Cowboys game … and — Tony would die if I told you this — but [on TV there was a story] about him,” she says. “They said his celebrity dream crush was Jessica Simpson.

“My family was like, ‘Did you just hear that?’” she goes on. “His picture came up, and I’m like, ‘He’s really cute.’ Then I heard [that I was his crush], and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh!’”

They met a year-and-a-half later after a pal introduced Tony to her dad, Joe Simpson.

After Tony spotted Jessica and Joe at the Country Music Awards last November, “Tony e-mailed my dad, ‘Cute date,’” Simpson reveals.

“My dad was like, ‘Look what Tony said,’ Simpson says. “I said, ‘Give him my e-mail address. We’ll see if he’s good with words.’ Then he e-mailed me, and we flirted over e-mail and on the phone.”

She says they got to know each other “by talking, which I think is the best way.”

On their first date, Simpson admits, “I had butterflies that you would not imagine. I wanted to puke in the cup holder … It took me forever to put together an outfit!”

He tried to kiss her on their first date. “I was taken aback….

“The fact that this guy, on our first date, in the first 10 minutes of dinner, wanted to lean over the table and say, ‘This is my girl, and I want to kiss her’ — our first kiss in front of everybody — was awesome,” she says.

She also hints about her split with Nick Lachey, saying, “There’s too much competition [being with a musician]. There’s too much know-it-all pop star.”

Sienna Miller wants babies!

Sienna Miller

Babies weren’t on the agenda for Sienna Miller during her roller-coaster romance with Jude Law, but it looks like motherhood may now be an option with current beau Rhys Ifans.

“I really want bubbies (sic) – I always have,” Miller told the June U.K. edition of InStyle magazine during a baby shower for her elder sister Savannah.

“I mean, I’m nearly 27 and you have to think about these things, don’t you?” posited Miller. “And Sav proves you can work and be a mum. It still scares me, though.”

The expectant Savannah – who already has one son, Moses – held the baby shower in west London, with a rock music soundtrack playing on a vintage 1950s record player. Guests snacked on with multicolored cupcakes, salads and tartlets, all washed down with Earl Grey tea and rosé Champagne.

Although baby showers are still a new concept in Britain, the Millers are more familiar with them than most, having an American father.

During the bash, celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke asked Sienna about her Welsh squeeze, scruffy actor Ifans (best known stateside for his role in 1999’s Notting Hill).

“[He’s] mad as a box of frogs – but I’m not exactly sane,” quipped the actress, who is already certain her sister’s baby-to-be is a girl.

Although she has the fame, Sienna still claims her sister inherited all the desirable traits. As she told InStyle, “When I was born, Savannah stole the height, the legs, the boobs, the spirituality.”

Amy’s love bite!

Amy Winehouse shows her love bite off, she presumably received from Blake when visiting him in prison earlier. Either that or there was a hungry, giant bat trying to escape from her home in Camden.

Karina Smirnoff: “Mario & I are still going strong”

Karina Smirnoff & Mario Lopez

Despite a people.com report, Dancing With the Stars’ Karina Smirnoff says she and beau Mario Lopez haven’t called it quits.

“You know, everybody goes through ups and downs in their relationships,” she told Usmagazine.com in a telephone interview Tuesday. “That’s kind of a given, and it’s normal. But Mario and I are going strong.”

Lopez, she said, “is a great guy, and I support him 100 percent, and I know he supports me.

“We are totally fine - and I’m not moving out!” she added. “You guys will be the first to know if I’m moving out.”

Smirnoff met the actor on the third season of the hit ABC show when he was a contestant.

In March, Smirnoff told Us “there is nothing” to rumors she’s hooking up with her current DWTS partner, R&B singer Mario.

“We have a completely professional relationship,” she told Us. “I have a lot of respect for Mario. He is a great person.”

Lopez told Us just two weeks ago that the rumor was “funny.”

The actor, best known for his role in the ’90s show Saved By the Bell, is currently starring in Broadway’s A Chorus Line.

Robert Downey, Jr. bulks up for Iron Man

Robert Downey Jr.

Not every kid can say his dad’s a superhero—but Robert Downy Jr.’s son can. Downey, who takes on the title role in the new Marvel Comics superhero film Iron Man said that his son Indio is surprisingly unaffected by his dad’s star power.

“That’s the funny thing. People say, ‘How is your son affected by your big self important narcissism?’ and I go, ‘He’s not thinking about me!’” Downey told Extra.

His son did notice his dad’s increasing size. Downey had to bulk up for the Iron Man part and used a combination of exercise and creatine. “I’m a big martial arts guy. but as far as looking good on screen. I started taking this creatine from Sweden. It’s a legal thing. People say it [creatine] bloats you. So you are putting on size, but you also look like you just ate five strombolis. But this stuff is non-bloating creatine. When I was taking it, I looked really jacked and then four hours after taking it, I looked like a shrunken monkey again. But I also worked my a** off doing it!”

Downey’s next role is sure to garner controversy: He’ll be playing a black man in the Ben Stiller-directed comedy Tropic Thunder. Downey was initially unsure about whether to take the role. “Ben is like, ‘White Chicks.’ I go, ‘I know but is this wrong? Have we come far enough along?’ He’s like, ‘Wayans Brothers, Eddie Murphy.’ I was like, ‘But we can still get it wrong.’He goes, ‘By the way Downey, this is the least offensive script in the movie.’”
