Ryan Gosling rallies for chickens

Ryan Gosling has joined celebrities waging war against the bosses of fast food chain KFC over the conditions in their poultry slaughterhouses.
The Oscar-nominated actor has fired off a letter on behalf of People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) to John Bitove, who oversees KFC Canada, urging him to stop the ongoing abuse of fowl supplied to his restaurants.
Gosling calls on Bitove to implement meaningful animal welfare reforms, stating, “The time is ripe to do the right thing.
He adds, “By adopting the basic recommendations made by PETA and scientific experts (including raising birds in a more natural manner and employing less cruel slaughter methods), you could dramatically improve the lives and deaths of chickens raised and killed for KFC Canada.”
Celebrities who have fired off letters about the KFC abuses in the past include pop star Pink and Pamela Anderson.

I’m so sick of PETA! any other animaly agency has far bety have far better standing then them. They have challenged fragile eco-systems by releasing animals that should not be there. For all the good they do bringing to attention the rights of animals I despise their exaggerated protest tactics. I wish more celebrities understood this and considered it before they get behind an organisation like PETA. PETA don’t believe in having PEts, for goodness sake. PETA in 2005 also put to death 90% of the animals collected which basically means they are hypocritical. I’m not against animal rights, particularly when it comes to cruelty, but I’m definitely against PETA.
