Howard Stern’s former sidekick died in jail
Howard Stern’s former radio sidekick Kenneth Keith Kallenbach has died at the age of 39, after contracting pneumonia in jail.
Kallenbach - described by Stern as the “ultimate airhead” died on Thursday at the Riddle Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania.
He was in custody at Delaware County Jail after being arrested and charged with attempted child abduction.
The death was revealed by his mother Fay Kallenbach, and broadcast on Stern’s Sirius Satellite radio show.
Fay claims her son suffered cystic fibrosis and wasn’t properly cared for behind bars.
County officials have disputed the allegation.
