Paris Hilton finds it hard to make friends
Paris Hilton finds it hard to make new friends and is wary of new people coming into her life – fearing they only want to hang out with her because she is famous.
The socialite – who is launching a reality TV search to find herself a new best friend forever insists she doesn’t have many pals and is only close to people she has known since she was a child.
And Hilton would love to expand her social circle, but fears getting conned by prospective new friends looking for their share of the celebrity life.
She says, “It is hard meeting new people. Most of my friends I’ve had my entire life, like obviously my sister (Nicky) and Nicole Richie have been with me forever. So when I meet new people, I’m always a little wary of the reason they may want to become my friend. I can usually just tell by when we’re out in public and there’s paparazzi around, I see, you know, who gets a little bit too excited or whatever. I can tell how those people are.”

its not her fame that makes it hard for her to make friends, it’s her personality!
