Madonna says Tom Cruise gets a raw deal

Madonna has defended superstar pal Tom Cruise against criticism of his Scientology faith, insisting he is a “good person” and should be allowed to worship whatever he likes.
The singer, a follower of Jewish offshoot the Kabbalah, claims it is nobody’s business what religion people choose to follow.
She tells New York magazine, “I don’t care if people worship turtles or frogs – if they’re good people, that’s all I care about, and he (Cruise) is a good person. I think he gets a raw deal, just as I think the orphans in Malawi get a raw deal; just as I think a lot of marginalized people get a raw deal.”

i think what good old madge is forgetting is that nobody else cares what religion he is either, but he started to shove it down our throats and toss his own religion based opinion around about things he could not possibly know about (i.e. post partum depression).

Wow. Did she just compare Tom Cruise, multi-millionare to ORPHANS in Malawi? Good job, Madge. Of course she’s defending him…*popularized versions i.e. Hollywood versions i.e. What she subscribes to –>* Kabbalah’s just as nutty as scientology….and she’s about as delusional as human beings come.

Uhh, I think she just dissed Tom Cruise big time with that comments. Now heris “marginalized”. Somehow though, I think she knew exactly what she was saying.
