Pete Doherty denies prison drug use

Pete Doherty’s manager has denied claims the troubled rocker is using drugs in prison - insisting the star is “healthy, lucid and positive”.
The Babyshambles rocker was jailed for 14 weeks last Tuesday for “breach of time-keeping, non-compliance of his (probation) order and using different drugs”.
Earlier this week, British newspaper The Sun published photos of Doherty inside London’s Wormwood Scrubs jail, claiming the star has continued using hard drugs while incarcerated.
But Doherty’s manager Adrian Hunter has dismissed the reports and called on the media to let him serve his time in peace.
He says, “In our contact with Peter since his incarceration he has been healthy, lucid and positive.
“Peter is trying to carry out his sentence with dignity and should be allowed to do so without intrusion.”
