Keanu Reeves will not star in Bill & Ted remake

Keanu Reeves won’t be reprising his role as time traveller Bill S. Preston, Esq. in a remake of 1989 cult comedy Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure.
Reeves found fame starring alongside Alex Winter in the movie, as well as the 1991 follow up Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.
According to internet reports, a remake is being planned with an updated script and a modern spin.
But the Matrix actor won’t be taking part. He insists, “If there is (a remake), I’m not there.”

He played Ted, not Bill. And a remake would be must un-unheinous.

Keanu Reeves WASN’T Bill S. Preston Esq. — that was Alex Winter, the “Bill” of excellence.
Keanu Reeves WAS Ted “Theodore” Logan — that was Keanu Reeves, the “Ted” of bogus.

i can\’t blame him for not wanting to be in a remake. that movie wasn\’t all that great when it came out, so i can\’t imagine that a remake would be any better.
