Jennifer Aniston is planning to rediscover her Greek heritage with a trip to the country this summer.
The former Friends star was born in California but her father hails from the Greek island of Crete and the family’s real last name is Anastassakis. Aniston is reported to be learning the language ahead of her planned holiday to the country, which is on her list of “Things To Do Before I’m 40″. She insists she is proud of her Greek roots, as her heritage has helped keep her grounded despite her fame.
She says, “There’s a warmth to my family and to Greeks in general. I have friends from childhood who are still in my life today. All this keeps it real.”

Mother-to-be Gwen Stefani has revealed that she is struggling to pen songs for her upcoming reunion with her No Doubt band mates.
“It’s great to be back together, but songwriting’s a bit slow on my part – it may have something to do with the baby,” the Mirror quotes her as saying.
However, she revealed that she is excited to be back working with the band saying that it is “great to be home with all my boys” on the band’s official website.
The last time Gwen recorded with No Doubt was in 2003 and she has spent recent years working on her solo career and collaborating with a host of musical influences including Linda Perry and Andre 3000.

A jury in the Bahamas investigating the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son Daniel has ruled it was caused by an accidental drug overdose, recommending no criminal charges be filed.
This verdict is huge because of what the jury didn’t say — that Howard K was responsible for the death.
The jury unanimously concluded Daniel died from “non-dependent drug use” — meaning he wasn’t addicted to what killed him.

Lily Allen’s actor father Keith is to follow in the footsteps of his pop star daughter by launching his own singing career.
Keith Allen has ventured into the music industry before, collaborating on football songs including 2007′s World In Motion with New Order and 1998′s Vindaloo by Fat Les. And Allen penned a collection of songs for his famous daughter before she landed a record deal, but after the Smile singer refused to use any of his songs, he has decided to record them himself.
He says, “I worked very hard on these 11 songs for Lily, and she decided not to use them. A 15-year-old girl sounded ridiculous singing the lyrics of a 40-year-old man. But it inspired me to write the album we’re working on.”
Allen has already recorded several tracks with renowned musician Pablo Cook, who has previously worked with Madonna, Joe Strummer and Robbie Williams.
