Laila Ali is pregnant with her first child
Muhammad Ali’s daughter Laila is pregnant with her first child.
The boxing champion and her husband, ex-American footballer Curtis Conway, reveal their baby news in the forthcoming edition of Essence magazine.
She says, “I don’t know yet if we are having a boy or a girl, but I’m excited that I have a life inside me that my husband and I created. I am 100 percent undeniably happy. I’ve never been able to say that
before.”
The couple married last year in a lavish ceremony in Marina del Rey, California. The child is Ali’s first and Conway’s fourth. He has twin sons and a daughter from a previous relationship.

is laila a muslim like her father or not? because muslim women are not allowed to marry nom-muslims so i dont think she is.

B: muslim women can marry non-muslim men as long as their men would agree to convert to Islam. but at contrario muslim men can marry non-muslim woman without being obliged to change their religion. talk about double standard

its not a double standard. its just that a man can easily infuluence a women’s ideas and bellifs.so if a muslim woman marries a non-muslim man she may loose her muslim faith and her children will be born non-muslim’s like thier father. but if a muslim man marries a non-muslim woman his children will be muslims and he can influence his children with islam. so his wife doesnt have to convert into islam.

She is not Muslim….
I really don\\\’t think she should\\\’ve called her son curtis \\\’\\\’muhammad\\\’\\\’ ….I think its a little disrespectful of her.,but then again its her choice,her life…..I wonder if she even consulted her father before doing such thing….If she is clueless of what she has done, then I\\\’d say she is just calling him after her father (Which means what she actually did is in respect to her father rather than the beloved prophet muhammad therefore she is without a doubt not muslim….Not that i have a problem with Ali the greatest Curtis Muhammad does not make sense at all to be honest
But if we muslims look at the bright side…the name muhammad will now be known/popular among non-muslims….Then They will ask who is muhammad…..Which should have been asked a long time ago….
(I also forgot to mention that The name Curtis exists in the muslim world)

I believe she is not a Muslim , her father Muhammed ali married her mother who is a Christian but divorced her and she was raised by Muhammed ali\\\’s ex wife laila\\\’s mother Muhammed who had a hectic busy life at that time propably didn\\\’t see his kids as much as he would have wanted.
