ABC has been dragging its heels on ordering more episodes of Darren Star’s Cashmere Mafia, sparking rumors that they’re not going to renew it at all.

However, sources say that their competition, NBC is planning on renewing Lipstick Jungle.

ABC has already ordered new episodes of other shows, such as Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies, and Samantha Who?

An ABC spokeswoman denies that the network is going to drop the show, but she hasn’t confirmed it either.

So if Cashmere Mafia is your cup of tea, then get to writing those letters and try to save the show.

The Post has reported that “Lipstick” is clobbering “Cashmere Mafia,” with the NBC show averaging 7.5 million viewers and ABC’s pulling roughly 5.5 million.
