Pauly Shore’s racial rant

Pauly Shore

Has-been comic Pauly Shore wants to be black!

Why? Well, here’s what he told a reader of worldstarhiphop.com:
“I need to be black, because if I was black, I’d be doing good. I mean, all the black comedians are doing good.

“You have [D.L.] Hughley, you have Monique, Cedric the Entertainer, Martin Lawrence, Charlie Murphy… Yeah, [Charlie’s] funny. But the reason why he’s even working is because what?”

Pauly, 40, has an answer to his own question: “White people are screwed. Especially in my industry, they’re screwed. White people are going to be picking cotton within, like, literally within three years.”

If that weren’t offensive enough, Pauly also drags presidential candidate Barack Obama into his rant: “Do you understand? If you look at their presidential race, right now, who’s their No. 1 candidate? Barack Obama, who is… black!”

Some people just need to keep their mouths shut!

…or maybe it’s b/c Pauly Shore hasn’t been funny since… oh yea, NEVER. And that’s the reason why he’s screwed in the industry.
I frequent at the Laugh Factory (not the Comedy Store, which he owns) and there are several “white” comedians who are hilarious!
I would never pay to see a movie with Pauly Shore as the lead. Saving that, i would never pay to see a movie with Cedric, or Charlie as leads. Hughley, maybe. Monique and Martin MOST DEF! why? because they make me laugh, aka THEY ARE FUNNY.
You, Pauly, you’re not. Not one bit.

He’s right. Black people use the card, why can’t white. I’m soo sick of black people saying the white man this the white man that. Get over it and move on!

  3. Kat Says:

Yeah because Dane Cook, Jim Carrey, The Today Show, All Late Night TV hosts, The Colbert Report, and Steve Carrell dont’ exist. Not to mention black people have Always been dominant in entertainment regardless of how much social and political discrimination existed- meaning social equality and success in comedy are NOT connected, at least not in the way he’s implying.

The most shocking part is that Pauly Shore is racist. I mean, he’s so the opposite of a bitter, irrationally hateful person. Who saw that coming?

  4. Eddie Says:

Dude I just can’t believe Pauly Shore is 40!

  5. ny Says:

I cant speak for all black folks but, I havent heard a black person blame the white man for anything in like YEARS! Not seriously anyways. People need to stop making excuses for their short comings. Maybe, just maybe you just dont have the talent u thought u once had. So people who DO have it… are surpassing you. Sad it took him to become 40 to realize it. AND his mother was like the owner of a huge comedy place. He had to come in contact with some really funny people. Appearently… none of it wore off on to him. BUT! I find this rant HILARIOUS!!! the funniest he’s ever been. lol He’s right tho… n 2days world…blacks where its @. And that n it self. Considering 15 yrs ago… that wasnt the case. I dont think hes tryn 2 be harmful with his statement. Or… @ least id like 2 think so…

  6. sexi mami Says:

  7. Lita Says:

He shouldn’t blame black people for his talentless ass.

  8. jakob187 Says:
