Mariah Carey’s plane had no door
Pop superstar Mariah Carey’s Sunday night dash from New York to Los Angeles was a slightly hairy experience - thanks to an airplane mishap.
The singer had to race back from the Big Apple after replacing Janet Jackson on TV show Saturday Night Live to finish work on her new album in L.A. But Carey missed her first plane and there wasn’t another one for hours.
She explains, “There was something weird with the plane (and) everyone was waiting there for hours and hours.” Carey eventually landed a private flight - on a faulty plane. She adds, “We missed the plane and then they gave me a plane without a door… You buy stock in these things, you expect them to be good.”
