Tom Arnold tried to help neighbor Britney Spears
Tom Arnold attempted to persuade Britney Spears to enter a 12-step substance abuse program two years ago after finding her slumped in the hallway of his apartment building.
The True Lies star knew the pop singer needed help long before her fans and the media. He reveals she was married to Kevin Federline when they shared a neighboring apartment – and one day Arnold found the singer considerably confused on the stairwell.
He recalls, “I tripped on her… She waited for an hour and a half for Kevin to come up in the elevator and find her and go, ‘Oh my God, honey, are you OK?’ and help her in. Now that’s sad.”

She can’t stop playing a part long enough to grow up and get a real life even after choosing to become a wife and mother. Pretty pathetic. And not really sympathy generating behavior for those with enough common sense to see her for what she really is.
