Ugly Betty and Anne Boleyn: Style Sisters

They’re separated in time by 500 years but there is one thing that unites Betty Suarez and Anne Boleyn (on-screen at least): their taste in bling! Both ladies sport identical “B” necklaces on Ugly Betty and in The Other Boleyn Girl. Actually, the design America Ferrera’s character sports was inspired by the style worn by the late queen in real life back in the 15th century.

The Anne Boleyn in “The Tudors” has the same necklace too.
And of course the original one had it too:

I noticed this when I started watching both of the shows and reading the books. I was all like… WOW! My only question is… Why did BETTY want to jack ANNE BOLEYN’s style, anyway? I mean BETTY is that outta style

Anne used to wear her necklace quite often to flaunt the fact that she was still a Boleyn–still single. It\’s in the most famous painting or Anne that exists.
