Jamie Lynn’s Nursery: Blue for Boy!
Sources confirm to PageSix.com that Jamie Lynn Spears is carrying a baby boy!
The Nickelodeon star’s big sis Britney was spotted grabbing gifts for the new little guy at luxe baby boutique Petit Tresor in West Hollywood. PageSix.com has learned that the shop will outfit her nursery as well.
The junior starlet has set her sights on an ocean theme for her unborn son’s first bedroom, and has purchased around $7,000 of “very basic” furniture.
The room will feature classic pieces like a round crib, standard changing table and an armoire, all in white.
“This is the most fun I’ve had shopping in a long time,” Jamie Lynn said, according to our spies.
MSNBC reports that Brit picked up organic blankies from Robbie Adrian ($116 each), favorites of stars like Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Lopez.
It’s lot of shopping for a girl who should have ample hand-me-downs from big sis Britney, mom to two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James. When will grandma Lynn get a break from the Y chromosome?
Jamie Lynn is reportedly due in late May. Reps for Jamie Lynn did not return calls for comment.

hard to feel sorry for her privacy when it was announced in a tabloid. Other slightly famous youths have become pregnant and stayed out of the limelight long enough to have their baby.

They should leave her alone. She DOES NOT live in LA, she is not out gallivanting at places the paps can find her and she is trying to build a life for her and her child. Better that she announced it to the world cuz if she didn’t they would be chasing her like crazy and putting her and her unborn child’s life in danger. Say what you will but she make an ADULT decision for a 16 year old, a lot more then can be said for most ADULTS today. Good for her. I wish her the best of luck and I hope she has a healthy child.

I thought you were supposed to stop tanning when you were pregnant. Also…. due in late May? This is March– which means she should be around 6-7 months now… which also means we should see a rather prominent belly. I’ll believe this bullshit when I see proof. I really, really dislike this entire family!

I think everyone is blowing this out of proportion. This poor girl is under the microscope for everything she does. How manygirls have you heard about being pregnant at 16? Probably lots! Give her a flippin’ break.
I bet shell care for this baby and you guys should stop assuming shell be just like britney.
