Dano Joins Deschanel in ‘Gigantic’
Paul Dano (There Will Be Blood, Little Miss Sunshine) is starring in and executive producing the indie offbeat romantic comedy Gigantic, which also stars Zooey Deschanel.
Matt Aselton is making his feature directorial debut on the movie, about a mattress salesman and a woman he meets at his store.
Machine Made Media is financing the project, and production is scheduled to start next month. Once he wraps Gigantic, Dano will move on to the indie feature The Good Heart, about an abrasive barman (Brian Cox) and a homeless guy (Dano) who becomes his protégé. Deschanel will next be seen with Mark Wahlberg in M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening.
