Paul McCartney wants to hear Rihanna sing Umbrella at the Brit Awards

Paul McCartney is praying that Rihanna performs his favorite song at the upcoming Brit Awards. McCartney is set to receive an award for Outstanding Contribution to Music at Wednesday’s ceremony, and insists the only thing that will make his night even more memorable is to see Rihanna belt out her hit single Umbrella.
Macca has appealed to the singer to make sure she chooses his preferred track at the ceremony. He says, “I hope she doesn’t sing something else. That would the one we would all want to hear. I love that song and I wouldn’t like her to do another. So please Rihanna, hear my plea.
Turns out, Sir Paul is in luck, Rihanna is slated to duet the song with the Klaxons, who are planning on giving her hit a new sound.

I don’t believe Rihanna BELTS out anything; she’s got a pretty mediocre voice. Does well with dance music and beat based stuff but ballads…not so much; and definitely no belting.
Paul must not listen to the radio much anymore…that song is plaaaaayyyyyeeeeed out. Ella Ella Ella…uh uh uh yeah.
