Bai Ling is blaming her shoplifting arrest yesterday on a bad break-up.
The actress, 37, tells E! that she was dealing with the “huge problem of breaking up [before] Valentine’s Day” when she decided to steal two celeb magazines and a pack of batteries (a $16 value) from a gift shop at L.A.’s LAX airport yesterday.
“Wrong boyfriend,” she adds.
She also expressed regret on her personal blog yesterday.
“Here I am in Albuquerque with my heart feeling sad, and my emotions are running through me like a wild river, tears come from the lake of my heart hurt my eyes,” she wrote.
“Life happens to you either you liked it or not, sometimes I feel you have to be so brave to stand in front of the World, and just hope that eople will have a tender heart toward you.”
After thanking friends and fans for their support, she signed off “send my Valentines love smile to you, with my sweet sad heart.”

She’s a f**cking train wreck, attention-whore. Seriously don’t want to read about her or see her photos. I mean I’d rather read about Britney’s white trash ass than this person, who is also obviously disturbed…I love how she wrote that blog from the “set of a movie” – what the hell movie is she in??? Seriously?? Like a porn?? Please.
