Larry Birkhead takes Dannielynn to see Anna Nicole’s grave
Nearly a year after Anna Nicole Smith passed away, Larry Birkhead took their baby daughter, Dannielynn, to visit the graves of her mother and brother Daniel in the Bahamas.
In a special, multi-part interview with Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, airing on Wednesday, Feb. 6, Larry speaks out on why he decided to take 17-month-old Dannielynn to visit the grave. “It’s tough. Even though she doesn’t understand, it was important for us to come. One day I can tell her that we went to visit her mom.”
The graves of both Anna Nicole and her son Daniel remain unmarked, said Birkhead, because their headstones are still being finalized. “A rough draft came back with a sketch of a picture I didn’t care for. I could just hear her hitting me over the head saying, ‘Why did you let that picture go down!?’” Birkhead reveals that the design of the headstone will be “so grand and big. It’s going to encompass Daniel’s stone too.”
Larry admits to ET and The Insider that he doesn’t like that Anna Nicole and her son are buried in the Bahamas. “I know that Daniel didn’t want to be here and I know that his mother was only here because of what was going on between us with the paternity question. To me it feels really odd.” He is leaving the decision on whether to move the graves to Dannielynn, however. “I’m going to leave the decision to Dannielynn when she’s older. It would probably be very hard, if not impossible to take both of them and I definitely don’t want to separate them.”

Why does he insist on taking this little girl to see Anna’s grave or make sure she knows her mother. If it was me I would go out of my way to make sure this little innocent knew nothing about her mother or the way her mother was. Yes, I would lie to her until she was old enough to see what her mother really was all about.

Why does he have to alert the media if he wants something private for his daughter. He is such a media whore…plus he gives me the creeps.

lying to the child will only backfire in the future, turning the child against the one who lied. Besides, with her mother’s notoriety, there is no way to shield her from what and who her mother was. That said, he doesn’t need to exploit his daughter in this way. Do these things in private, otherwise, we can only believe he is a money grubbing whore.

Thank God the rest of America is slowly starting to realize what ANS tried to tell the world all along! That Larry Birkhead is nothing but a fame hungry creep!
Even in her very last interview she said, “I think he’s after money and fame.” Well guess what! Turned out that ANS was a 100% right!

It is sad two lives were so messed up that they had to pass-away to have peace. Now Danielynn has to grow up with mess surrounding her and she has no clue what really happened and she will never know the real truth because her mother and brother are gone. Such a mess for such a beautiful little gift from God to deal with in growing years to come. I hope and pray this little girl will have truth told to her in an appropriate manner. There have been enough lies through all this with Anna. What confusion when the truth about who Danielynn’s father came out. Anna new Larry was the father and so did Howard. The truth is not hard to speak and if some type of attachement to “MONEY” wasn’t there, Danielynn may not have been so popular or would she??
