Christina Aguilera opens up about being a mom.

ET sat down with Christina Aguilera last night in the pop star’s first sit-down interview since becoming a new mother, in an exclusive two-part interview to air on Thursday, February 7th and Friday, February 8th.
Christina Aguilera gushes about life at home with husband Jordan Bratman and three week old son Max Liron, “It’s so unbelievable. The whole thing is just incredible. I’m enjoying him every second and I can’t stop staring at him. I can’t believe I created this! You think you’ve accomplished all of these amazing things until you have your first born.” She goes on to say that her husband is an amazing father, “I am so lucky to have him be my partner in all of this. He changes the diapers and when I have to pump he gets the bottles ready. He’s really a hands-on daddy.” She adds that during labor, “He had a little camera and recorded every moment.”
Balancing career and motherhood is a challenge Aguilera is happy to take on, “I am sure some days will be better than others, but I am ready to take on the challenge and just be the best that I can be. Max will be a little roadie on tour! He’ll be backstage, he’ll be my little fan.” When asked if she will have more children, “I’m not going to set anything in stone, but I think we’ll definitely keep going.”
Growing up in the spotlight, Aguilera says her childhood helped her prepare her for fame, “There was a lot of stuff that happened to me early on, like the domestic violence in the home, that prepared me for success. I also grew up singing in the talent shows, which created other kids not being so nice, so I felt alienated early on. That taught me the rougher road and how to deal with certain situations.”
On fellow mouseketeer alum Britney Spears‘ recent troubles, “I don’t know the inside story, but my God, I wish her all the best in the world.”

I wondered what she had to say about Britney. Her response was pretty classy.
