Britney Spears’ ‘choice’ for co-conservator is her business manager, Howard Grossman.

Sounds reasonable, but sources close to the case say that Howard has had a long-standing friendship with none other than Sam Lutfi.

When we asked Howard about Sam earlier today, the manager told us, “no comment.”

A court officer has been unable to serve Sam with the civil restraining harassment order which was granted at Spears’ parent’s request on Friday. And after learning that he had spoken to Britney over the phone on Sunday, Commissioner Goetz supplemented the order today, saying Sam was forbidden from any personal contact with the pop mom.
