Will someone please explain to me why Britney is speaking with a British accent?
Okay, I know she’s nuts…I know everyone says she’s bipolar. This is crazy. She goes off (in this video) on her manager, Sam Lufti – in a BRITISH accent.
It’s so annoying.

my sister is bipolar, so I’m familiar with manic episodes. something in Brit’s brain just snapped- she can’t help it. I really feel for her family, it’s a devastating experience.

My mother was and a close friend is bipolar and neither of them acted like that during manic episodes. While she clearly exhibits some of the symptoms of mania, as described in the DSM IV (the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders), assuming other personas (not personalities) is not one of those symptoms. There are a host of other psychological symptoms or a combination thereof that she could be suffering from. I sincerely hope she gets help soon before she irrevocably hurts herself and/or others.

I think she does it because she wants to be like Amy Winehouse. Can’t you see it the red lips, black hair, nasty clothes. For some strange reason she thinks this makes her look like a bad ass. Just a little to high school for age, and with kids.

Gee. What a metaphor for her life – she’s desperately fighting to be in the driver’s seat again! This woman is hurting. After seeing this clip, I only have empathy for her. I hope she gets help soon.

didn’t I read somewhere that she also suffers from multiple personality disorder? altho, my teenage son said if papparazzi was following him around constantly, he’d pull stupid stunts like that too. I so wish she gets the help she needs, and moves to some small hick town in Canada or something where she can put her life back together.
