Why can’t Heath Ledger just rest in PEACE!?

Basically they’re telling me they’ll sue the pants off me if I show the video on my website. Would I ever show a video of Heath Ledger doing drugs? HELL NO! Just leave the poor man alone!!
The video is of Heath Ledger at a drug-fueled party back in 2006.
“I’m gonna get so much sh*t from my girlfriend,” Ledger is seen saying in the vid.
Why, he’s asked.
“We have a baby together…matilda matilda rose.”
The tables at the party are filled with drugs, one person who has seen the tape tells us.
Ledger also talks about his drug use and other not so pretty things are seen.
“I used to smoke five joints a day,” Heath reveals. And that’s not the only thing. It’s being reported that Ledger also battled addiction to heroin, cocaine, alcohol and prescription pills.

The whole thing is absolutely disgusting. Why can’t the poor man rest in peace? What has he done that others have not? Is he the only person in the world that has tried or been addicted to drugs? Everyone just needs to give it a break, he is dead we are supposed to mourn, no pry into the shady parts of his life.

All of this is self-induced you realize. He left every one who loved him in the most horrific situation imagineable. He should have stuck with smoking joints and just chill out.
He was also FAMOUS so why did he do that ON TAPE again?

I am so disgusted about this…my heart just breaks for his daughter, Michelle Williams and his family. Everyone makes mistakes and has struggles in life and when you die you shouldn’t have every single one brought up and shown to the world…he can never defend himself or try to make up for it…what he will now be remembered is for his addiction to drugs. I understand people want to understand why this happened to him, why I believe people post about him but this just goes way way past the line. I do not know how these people sleep at night showing this video…his little girl not only has to know that her father had this addiction but now gets to see it when she gets older…how sad. With ET doing this…they lost one viewer who will never watch again.

I find it funny everyone sticks up for his “privacy” but felt free to lampoon Britney Spears or Anna Nicole. They all have drug and or mental issues Heath’s was just hidden better. Its a pretty big double standard to say he should be left alone but be obsessed with other celebs addictions.

I guess for the same reason Anna Nicole Smith videos showed up all over the place.
A celebrity who is not above board is entertaining to some people.
But why should he not get the same treatment we would be giving Anna, or Lindsey, or Paris if there was a video of them doing drugs and acting crazy??
Because he is a man? Or a real actor? He gets priority?
I don’t get it, why he should be sheilded, obviously he was not perfect.
Let the video roll, maybe a youngster thinking drugs are cool, would change their mind. And if just one or two say no to drugs from seeing it, it would be worth it.

Erin, your analogy to Britney is faulty here. There’s a clear difference between Britney and Heath - Heath is no longer with us. Why is it necessary to now trample on the man’s grave with this salacious nonsense? Further, Anna Nicole was someone who craved and adored the spotlight of celebrity - Heath shied away from it during his life. Nice try.

I thought it was wrong what they did to Anna after her death…and well Britney all she wants to do is be in the spotlight…she seeks the attention…also key thing is she is ALIVE and can help herself by getting help or here is a shocking thing stay inside and avoid the paps…I would love nothing better than to look online and not see her and every detail about what she did last night…Heath never seeked out this attention so I wish people would just let him rest in peace and let his family grieve privately.

I saw the video he was not using drugs, he actually made a comment that he should not be there (because other people were using) and then made a joke about smoking joints everyday for 20 years. It was meant as a joke, because if it true, it would have meant he started smoking pot at like age six. ET is pathetic, I will no longer watch that show.

Heath was a private guy,I just feel so sorrry that this came out.Now how will people judge him?Or second guess his passing?I do not judge or second guess,Heath was HUMAN.I seen this video on news a couple of hours ago,Heath stated that he shouldn’t be here,he had a wife & daughter.I felt angry & thought ‘what An Invasion Of Privacy”I’m very sorry to his family,friends & fans.And to Heath in Heaven.R.I.P. Heath LEGEND.
