Mark Vincent Kaplan says Britney Spears’ deposition was “gut-wrenching”

Mark Vincent Kaplan has gotten the chance, finally, to depose Britney Spears in hers and K-Fed’s custody battle.
“We are going over things that are very, very gut-wrenching,” Kaplan said Monday night, speaking outside of Katsuya restaurant in Brentwood. He declined to discuss specifics of the questioning, but said, “Just to revisit them even in your own mind would not be pleasurable.” He added, “It’s not something anyone would enjoy.”
Britney Spears has a bad track record for showing up at her depositions, so this was definitely a step in the right direction for the singer. Kaplan has said that there will be numerous depositions in the unspecified future, but he said that he’s only 2% of the way through the questions that he has for her.
Questions include past drug and alcohol use, her failure to comply with court orders, and any other subject relating to her fitness as a parent.
Britney showed up for the deposition 50 minutes late. Any later than that and Kaplan would have terminated the session.

This lawyer needs to keep his mouth shut. He is just after the fame. This should be private and he shouldn’t be talking about any of the deposition be it gut wrenching or what to the media. He should have said no comment. Why doesn’t he ask his own client (that isn’t paying him) about his pot smoking, other drugs, and drinking. How about how all the marriage he was in Vegas and never home with the kids?
