UPDATE: Here’s the story on Amy flipping out.
While we have been enjoying front row seats to the Britney Spears train wreck here in Los Angeles, our British friends have been had the chance to watch Amy Winehouse self-destruct first hand. Last night, after visiting her jail bird husband Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy went crazy, screaming and punching photographers outside a candy shop. Police were called and had to escort her to her car before she did any more harm.

why don’t you give the entire story, i already read on another web site that the reason Wino yelled at the photog is because he ran into a woman while trying to take a picture of Amy and she wanted him to appologize

My plan: they both need to be forecefully locked away in the middle of a convent and left for 6-12 months. In separate rooms, though, or Amy might try to light Britney’s weave on fire and get high off the fumes! They’re definitely passengers on the same train – Cuckoo Express, heading to hell. It really is sad.

Britney. She’s a mother. If Amy screws herself that’s her problem, cause she’s only responsible for herself. Britney has two children, who for better or worse, depend on her for love and support. I’m actually glad they have K-Fed. Can’t believe I just typed that.

Brit is worse off because she has 2 SMALL children. Its really sad for both of these talented young women. Amy just needs to get her shit together and I think that she will be ok…Brit on the other hand needs a major kick in the butt. Both of them just need to find people who REALLY want to help them. Not just because they have money or are famous

I think Amy’s a bigger mess. Britney’s not doing drugs, she has a serious mental illness. Amy’s just a druggie.

I think Britney is a much bigger mess. There are kids involved in Britney’s case. I also think her life in the spotlight from such a young age really screwed with her head and left her with no real sense of self-worth except staying in the limelight, whatever it takes. Oh, and Amy is more talented. Britney was never a great singer…it was all about her looks and charisma on stage, and those things are what they once were, and she knows it.

At times like these I turn to talent. Since Amy can actually sing, I will say Brintey is worse plus she has kids. Amy can afford to be self-indulgent. Because…
1. She has no kids.
2. Her success is not based on pop princess status.
