Shar Jackson: K-Fed’s happy the boys are safe
Shar Jackson says her ex, Kevin Federline, is holding up well during the ordeal with Britney Spears.
“He’s good,” Jackson, 31, told People on Thursday at the GBK luxury suite in the Beverly Hills Thompson Hotel. “I talked to him the other night and he’s fine. He’s just happy that the boys are safe. That’s his biggest thing, making sure that the boys are in a good place and that they’re happy. And they’re happy.”
Kevin Federline, 29, now has sole legal and physical custody of his sons with ex-wife Spears – Preston, 2, Jayden, 1 – following the pop singer’s meltdown. A hearing is set for Monday on whether to resume Britney Spears’ visitation rights.
Shar Jackson, who has two children with Federline – Kori, 5, Kaleb, 3 – has remained close to her former boyfriend, speaking with him “all the time,” she says.
Jackson says that for the sake of the boys, Britney Spears should focus on her own needs right now.
“I’m just one of those people that believe you need to take care of yourself before you can take care of anybody else,” Jackson says. “My only advice would be take care of yourself. If you need help for whatever reason, go get it. Do whatever you have to do for those babies.”

Shar Jackson is such a beautiful and compassionate person. She stuck up for Kevin Federline before all of the insane behavior of Britney as –being a good father. It turns out she was right. Federline child proofed his home when he bought it for all of his children—Britney had to have a court order to make her home safe for the toddlers (they could have drowned in her pool. This speaks volumes about what kind of mother Britney is. Federline has proven to be a strong person and a caring father and I wish Kevin well as a producer in the music industry.

I don’t understand why everyone is so hard on Shar. She was a minor star in her own right BEFORE the whole Britney/K-Fed disaster — just check IMDB. She can’t help that her EX hooked up with someone famous. Also, that she gets money from spousal/child support **hardly** makes her unique!!
The fact that she has kept her dignity and never said a negative thing publicly during the past several yearss [when she had many opportunities] speaks VOLUMES to her character — and to what good parents she had. Take note, Spears family!

Wow you are all haters. This is a classy lady who NEVER and I mean NEVER had anything bad to say about Kevin or Brit, 2 people who did her really dirty. She supports her kids and her family the best she can, she even says that Kevin doesn’t pay child support instead he pays for their kids to go to private schools which are very expensive. Shar is all class and a great mother, she is not looking for her 15 minutes of fame but the bitch deserves it.
