Charlize Theron says smoking is the key to her success
Actress Charlize Theron says smoking has been the key to her success, as she has run into director Paul Haggis, while puffing on a cancer stick.
Charlize says that she wouldn’t have gotten her role in In The Valley of Elah, hadn’t it been for her nasty habit.
Charlize says:
“I kept on running into writer and director Paul Haggis when we were at an awards event. He was there for his film Crash and I was there for North Country. We were the only two losers in an alley, smoking. He said, ‘I’m going to write a film for you.’ And he did.”
Her newest film is set to hit cinemas later this month. I bet it’s going to be great, Charlize is one of my favorite actresses.

Gross! These Hollywood people act like they’re all so healthy and most of them smoke to stay thin. She looks so beautiful, but must smell awful!

Not everyone that smokes smells awful. I’ve been a smoker for over 10 years and many people (including very non smokers) have no clue I smoke until they see me light up. People carry it differently.

Its really not that hard to stay thin if you exercise and watch what you put in your pie hole. Its rather simple. Smoking like diet pills is just a easy way out but once you stop the weight comes right back. I can usually always tell a smoker but the way the look in the face, a lot of smokers don’t smell like smoke but they have more fine lines, worse teeth and nastier fingers then most. Just my observation.

Charlize is so gorgeous and elegant. She’s one of my favorite actresses. I just hope that no one takes up smoking in hopes of becoming a major film star!
