Spears Fam Attacks Phil: You Totally Betrayed Us!

Spears family rep Lou Taylor told Meredith Vieira on the “Today” show that Dr. Phil actually broached the subject of doing a show about Britney, but that they nixed the idea, only to have Phil try to set up the show anyway. Taylor scorched Phil, saying it was even “inappropriate” for Phil to bring up doing a show, and that the family thought it would be detrimental to Britney.
What’s more, Taylor said that the family felt “betrayed” that Phil would issue any kind of statement after meeting with Brit, and that nobody had given him any authority to say anything, much less bellow on and on like he did.
It’s a total smackdown.

Must be nice to have someone else to shift the blame to.

Hmm, it’s still messed up that baldy had the nerves to “issue” a statement about Britney like he did. If he wanted to realkly help her, he wouldv’e kept his big mouth shut.

I had the misfortune of appearing on Dr. Phil’s show. I was trying to save my addicted daughter’s life. He did NOTHING to help her. The only reason I agreed to go on is because they said they could help my daughter. She had attempted suicide the year before and I had written the show asking for resources in the Seattle area. I didn’t hear anything back for a year until I guess they had a show that they could exploit a young girl (they kept wanting me to mention Paris Hilton, etc… and how she was trying to act like her. I never even met the “Dr” until I was on the stage, which he just basically scolded her and said the same things that we all have been saying to her for years. He wouldn’t offer her rehab because she said she wouldn’t go before the show. He didn’t EVEN TRY. He then promised outpatient treatment and I couldn’t even get that after months of calling his so called assistant, Anthony. Anthony was rude and uncaring and basically told me if I sent her to rehab I would have to “Foot the bill”. Dr. Phil is a fraud and a ratings whore. I will regret taking his offer of “help” for the rest of my life. The show title was “The young and the reckless” and all he did was exploit my daughter and make her look like a horrible person. Anyone who knows anything about addiction knows that the addicted person can act like a horrible person. Dr. Phil has no business counseling anyone with addiction. As I left the stage, very distraught but still hopeful that we were going to get help he shook my hand and said “we’ll talk more later”. After the show I was wisked out of the studio and off the property and had to wait at the airport for 4 hours because they booked a flight at the wrong time.

I hope the rumer’s Iv’e heard aren’t true. There are some bad thing’s being said about him. If he true’ly isn’t getting the people help that apear’s on his show as I v’e heard him say as well as the speacialist in the audiance that he refer’s them to and I here them say that yes they will help. Then there is know reason for him to be on in the first place. Most of these people can’t offord it. If they can’t sponser them why even go there. Otherwise, I think he tell’s the truth, and that’s what a lot of people don’t want to here.I really hope he practice’s what he believe’s. As for his coment I really don’t think he said anything anyone else hasn’t said. They’ve had all kind’s of people discussing her, on TV. Let,s just all pray for,and let her alone to deal with it,including Dr. Phil.
