Kid Rock’s waffle house arraignment postponed

Kid Rock’s arraignment for battery charges relating to an October 2007 incident at Atlanta, Georgia’s Waffle House has been postponed. The rocker/rapper – real name Robert Ritchie – was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor of simple battery after the scuffle on October 21st. He was due to be arraigned in Dekalb County in Georgia on Monday, but the case has been postponed until February 4th. And there’s good news for Rock – he could escape the charges altogether, depending on further evidence, according to the Dekalb County Solicitors Office.
The other man involved in the fight has been charged with a felony count of second degree criminal damage to property after breaking a window in the incident.
