Lindsay’s new film in trouble?

Today has not been a good day for Lindsay Lohan. The recently rehabbed starlet was seen chugging from a bottle of champagne in a video released today and now her big-screen comeback, Dare to Love Me, is in trouble — but not for the reasons you might think.
The 21-year-old was publicly chastised for what producers called her poor work ethic and constant absences from the set of her 2007 movie Georgia Rule, and many speculated that her recent wild behavior in Italy (where she romped with three different men and swilled champagne) would have producers of her new film deeply concerned. But, surprisingly it’s not her wanton ways they’re worried about.
Dare to Love Me’s executive producer Gary Hamilton told PageSix.com that there was no concern about Lindsay’s relapse or any potential issues insuring her. “There’s no problem with Lindsay from our perspective,” he said. “It’s financing this film, which is a separate issue.”
Principal photography on the tango flick was set to begin in the coming weeks in Romania, but Hamilton revealed, “I’m not sure the movie is going to go immediately.”
Rumors have swirled about Lindsay falling off the wagon since she left Cirque Lodge rehab center in October, but the New Year’s Eve footage of Lindsay drinking was the first public proof that she had compromised her sobriety. However, her lawyer, Blair Berk, says despite the lapse, Lindsay — who was jailed for just 84 minutes in November for a DUI — is “back on track.” It remains to be seen if the same can be said for her new film.
