Lindsay Lohan’s manager-mom Dina Lohan says that her daughter’s ex-boyfriend, Riley Giles, purposefully hurt the actress – but denies a recent report that she called his mother to berate her parenting skills.

“I never spoke to Riley’s mom, nor would I blame her for his behavior,” Dina exclusively tells PEOPLE. “Riley is a grown man.”

The report claimed the phone call was made after Giles sold the story of his affair with Lohan to News of the World.

Dina, however, did slam Giles for his tell-all interview with the paper, in which he revealed intimate details of their relationship. “He took desperate measures to hurt Lindsay because she broke up with him,” she says.
