Angelina Jolie ends rift with Jon Voight
Angelina Jolie has ended the rift between her and her estranged father, Jon Voight by reaching out with a telephone call. The pair hadn’t spoken since Voight told a U.S. television show in June 2002 that he hoped Jolie sought help for her “serious emotional problems”. Voight, 69, has since attempted to patch things up with his daughter, and last month, said, “I’m very impressed with Angelina’s work, with some of the humanitarian things, and she’s a great actress.
“I am always thinking of Brad and the kids. I’m sending my love that way.” A source tells the National Enquirer that Jolie called her father while spending Christmas in New Orleans with partner Brad Pitt and their four children.
The friend reveals, “It was a short call, but it meant the world to both of them. It was something for them to build on, and Jon couldn’t say enough good things about the way his daughter is conducting her life.”

Good for her shows she is growing up. I wish the best for them and I hope he gets to meet his grandkids soon. She looks so hot in the above picture.

Agree with you there Blondey, that truly is an idiotic comment. It certainly isn’t the bed relationship model for children, but parental relationships are difficult and the fact that she has reached out says something! If my parent betrayed me that way on national television I wouldn’t be too keen on speaking with them for awhile either. Besides, he was notoriously an absent father, cheating on her mother, so their relationship is one that is far from perfect.
