Diane Kruger is spending the Christmas holidays in Germany – because her mother threatened to disown her if she didn’t come home.

The National Treasure: Book of Secrets star has celebrated the festive season away from home for the last two years, but is making a special effort to be with her family this year.

She says, “I’m going to Germany; I haven’t been home in two years. My mum made it clear – if I don’t come home, I’m not her daughter anymore.”
