Want to be a body double for Britney
Blender magazine is requesting a body double for the troubled “singer” for her upcoming shot with them. Blender magazine is claiming that Britney is to out of shape to bare all for the mags planned shot which will be a redo of the famous Marilyn Monroe bed shot that was done right before her death.
“We are casting for a Britney Spears body double. You must have shoulder length medium blonde hair. This person must also be in shape! 5’2” to 5’5”. This will be a take off of a Bert Stern photograph of Marilyn Monroe in bed, from the last shoot before her death. Your face will not be shown in the final photo.”

I agree with coops. What’s the point then? Or why not choose a different shot? It’s crazy that in today’s society we’re so comfortable with photoshopping pictures to this extreme, when simply reworking the shoot would have at least yielded a more accurate portrayal of Britney. This kind of thing makes me never want to read magazines at all, because how do we know anything is the truth? Everything from the articles to the pictures are a fabrication birthed out of the quest for the almighty dollar. Sick.

This is such crap. She isn’t that out of shape. Magazines totally distort the image of women and make teens want to be like the supper skinny models that need to eat.

whoa!!! who cares if they use a body double? what troubles me is she is doing a shoot like marilyn did just before she died. could the britster be getting ready to clock out? sure wish she could get back on track for the sake of her kids. they need both parents. instead they have no “real” mom and only half of a dad. very sad.
