Another ‘Oprah Moment’

Oprah & Barack

Do you think celebs have an influence on voters?  I love Oprah as much as the next woman …

The Big O is hitting the campaign trail to lend her support to presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama.  Here’s a pic from a rally in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday. “I’m here because of my personal conviction about Barack Obama and what I know he can do for America,” she said in a speech.

Do you think it’ll help that Obama is the newest addition to “Oprah’s Favorite Things”?

I’m not an O fan. I think the O should stand for O-ver-rated.
I’m also not a Howard Stern fan. But some years ago, I heard a comment attributed to him…Of course he was talking himself up and her down…
The point was about all her supposed “influence”. She has about 2 million daily viewers. That really isn’t a whole lot of people percentage wise in the US. It’s less than 1%. I would guess other celebs have a bit bigger following. Or are more trusted than O. She comes off as very shady to within circle of friends.

I’ll bet ol’bama is tapping her dark holes! You know she needs some serious deep tapping. Put her back in her place!

I think she’s trying to send a message that the nation is a ready for a black president. I wouldn’t disagree with that idea, just not Barack. Ron Paul 2008!

  4. snoopy Says:

Kucinich 2008!!! All the other candidates are corporate puppets!! Except maybe Ron Paul.

If Obama wasn’t black, she would be supporting Clinton instead, because she is a woman. So we all know her agenda, even though she probably on a politcal level has no idea what her buddy Obama is even qualified for. Personally I wouldn’y even buy a book she recommends. She has proven many times not to do her homework.

i totally agree with meow_town. She voiced her support for Obama way before he announced he was running for President, that’s before he even stated his position and campaign agendas. I think she thinks too highly of herself. Why does Obama need her to join him on the campaign trail?! Look at the picture, it’s like they are husband and wife. I wonder how Obama’s real wife feels about this. Oprah is on the market again after dumping Stedman…
