RIP – Evel Knievel

Evel Knievel

His death comes just two days after it was announced that he & Kanye West settled a federal lawsuit over the use of Knievel’s trademarked image in Kanye’s “Touch the Sky” music video.

Knievel’s death was confirmed by his granddaughter, Krysten Knievel. He had been in failing health for years, suffering from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that scarred his lungs.  He was 69 years old.

Condolences to his loved ones.

    Poor Evel Knievel! I am glad that he and Kanye patched things up though.

    I enjoyed the oportunity to chat with him about car racing (where he got his start) back in the “ol’ days”. Nice guy – Condolences to his family
