For everyone (including me) who thought we might have another repeat of a potential “secret” love affair between DWTS’ Julianne Hough & her parter- you were wrong.

“Oh my gosh! No!” Hough told PEOPLE Thursday. “I love Helio like he is my brother. We are the best of friends.”

Same thing happened last season when she called off her engagement to dental student Zach Wilson. Rumors swirled that it was because she & her Season Four partner, speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, were an item—a rumor both Hough and Ohno vehemently denied.

Jennie Garth told Inside Edition Thursday, “When Julianne Hough dances she can have chemistry with a broomstick.”  I guess it has nothing to do with the fact that both of her partners have been adorable athletes, eh?

Hough, 19, is currently in Orlando with Castroneves & several other DWTS cast members for the annual Disneyworld Christmas Parade. Next week she resumes recording songs for her upcoming CD (interesting!), which is due to be released in early 2008. Helio will be back in LA for several media obligations before getting “back to my territory, racing the Daytona 24 hours in January,” he said.

CD?  Did anyone know she could sing?  Is she secretly a double/triple threat???  Not gonna lie, I’ve got a tiny girl crush on her- she’s fantastic!  Loves her!
