Barbara Walters cousin is dating Paul McCartney!
Barbara Walters stated on The View Monday that her second cousin is the lady that is dating Paul McCartney.
“See, that lovely, young, conservative, attractive-looking woman with Paul McCartney? Well, I love her very much. She’s my cousin.”
Originally reported by People Magazine, Barbara said that she thinks the romance between the pair is “very nice.”
She provided additional information for people interested in Nancy Shevell.
“She’s my second cousin. Her mother, who died, was my first cousin. And I have been very close to this young woman. … She’s separated from her husband, who’s a nice man. The marriage wasn’t going well, and they’re separated.” As for the rumors that Nancy knew Paul’s previous wives Linda and Heather Mills, Barbara stated that this simply wasn’t true.

Babara is incorrect. Her cousin’s child is not her second cousin. The child would be the second cousin of Babara’s children. She would be Babara’s first cousin once removed or in some cultures (most latinos) she would be considered the niece.
