“You’re not a pop star, so you don’t know.”
Britney Spears’ lawyer has just told the Commissioner in the custody case that he just don’t understand what it takes to be a pop star.
As TMZ first reported, K-Fed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, went to court this morning, arguing that Brit’s visitation should be modified because she’s violating the order requiring her to respond to the drug-testing people within an hour of the time they call.
High-powered lawyer Anne Kiley, who reps Brit, told the judge her client has received calls as early as 8:00 AM. Kiley said pop stars don’t get up that early, adding, “You are not a pop star with a number one album, so you don’t know.” The courtroom erupted in laughter.
Apparently, Kiley got her message across, because the Commish is open to a more flexible timetable that works for Brit.
They’re back in court at 10:30 AM PST. Stay tuned.

Actually, a number two album. And it sounds to me like she is simply lazy and wants to sleep in. I don’t recall seeing her do much “actual” work lately (that album was made long ago) and seeing as she is constantly surrounded by paparazzi and goes out all the time, we might have noticed. If her children were more important she’d get her ass parked by that cellphone ready to do what she needed to do.
if she wants her children back she should know that she will have to get up much early than 8 a.m.
And Miss Spears isn’t a parent because she obviously has no knowledge or desire to obtain the knowledge of how to keep and raise her children she busted her ass trying to birth two seconds after finding someone to impregnate her.
Just wondering - if she can’t get out of bed at 8 a.m. to answer the phone to take her drug tests, who’s up with the kids? Oh that’s right - her nanny. Useless piece of shit.
If she was out promoting her album, she would most definitely have to be up early, flying here and there and doing morning shows. She chose not to do any promotion, so what’s the excuse of not getting up? This girl is driving me crazy.
