Lynne Spears told our friends at Life & Style magazine, that she feels more than a bit to blame for her daughter Britney’s personal woes.
“I wish I’d been there more while she was touring, but I couldn’t be. I had the other kids to look after [son Bryan, 30, daughter Jamie Lynn, 16].”

Says Lynne, I didn’t raise my children to have Hollywood careers. This all just exploded in my face, and big dreams became big headaches.”
Britney’s problems seem to be getting worse. She lost custody of her sons,
Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, to ex-husband Kevin Federline, 29, and her visits with her boys must be supervised by a court-appointed monitor.

The monitor (aka “court snitch”) recently reported that Britney’s parenting skills were less than stellar, and asserted that the singer is “often distracted and in her own world when she has the kids.” The monitor also didn’t appreciate being used as a baby sitter, being left with the boys in the hot car while the 25-year old pop star browsed for chandeliers.

Maybe you shouldn’t be writing a parenting book, Lynne!
