Gisele Bundchen refuses to be paid in US Dollars.

The supermodel is insisting that she be paid in almost any currency but the U.S. dollar, Bloomberg reports.
Like billionaire investors Warren Buffett and Bill Gross, the Brazilian supermodel, who Forbes magazine says earns more than anyone in her industry, is at the top of a growing list of wealthy people who have concluded that the currency can only depreciate because Americans are living beyond their means.
Even after the dollar lost 34 percent since 2001, the biggest investors and most accurate forecasters say it will weaken further as home sales fall and the Federal Reserve cuts interest rates.
The dollar plummeted to its lowest ever last week against the euro, Canadian dollar, Chinese yuan and the cheapest in 26 years against the British pound.

think about that for a sec. when supermodels begin paying attention to the financials — and acting on them — you can be sure we’re fucked.
wheeeeeeeee! hope ya’ll have your mortgages, cars and credit cards paid off. the u.s. economy is going down. give a big old shoutout to citibank, merrill lynch, and all the big boyz on wall street for facilitating the greatest financial scam in this country’s history. can you spell hyperinflation; how about depression.

Anyone with the option to get paid in Euros or any non-dollar currency should do it. Things are not going to get better for the dollar in the near to mid term.

I hate to admit as a Canadian I am loving the decline in U.S $$, I know it isn’t super great for your economy but for me it is way cheaper to shop and book vacations…both of which I have done
