Jen outsells Angie!
Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are competing cover girls! Both women grace the front of November’s W Magazine.
How? The issue is being sold with nine different cover options, and with Aniston and Jolie each earning one, the Pitt-flames past and present are in direct competition.
While the numbers aren’t in yet on W’s head-to-head cover match, Forbes reports that over a six-month period, Aniston covers outsold every other celeb, including Angie.

I’m an Angie fan but don’t boycott many of her magazine covers, the tabloid ones, cause they are filled with such garbage about her and the same ole stories over and over. Anistons tabloid covers are usually sympathetic toward her. Has anyone else noticed that? Of the two covers above, I would buy the Angie cover for sure. Is this Forbes study including the tabloids or just fashion magazines?

I knew it! Jen. sells the most magazines because she at least SMILES and shows teeth. She is the most accessible and relate-able to other women.

I think constantly putting these two women against each other is ridiculous. Im not an Angelina fan, I prefer Jennifer, but this is really getting out of hand…I don’t buy any of those mags anymore, you can get all the latest lies and gossip on the internet.

Well, the audience for these magazines are women. Angie appeals more to men. Most women are stupidly intimidated by Angie’s beauty and attitude. They believe tabloid magazines that tell them to fear Angie because she’ll steal their boyfriends; whereas Jen is their bestfriend next door. Jen would NEVER outsell Angie if the magazines in question were targeted to straight men. Let’s be honest: men are far LESS pretentious than women.

Ugh. For the last time, Angelina is NOT beautiful. It’s this huge myth that’s been crafted around accepting people that look “different” in Hollywood. I’m all for accepting people of beauty in different races and cultures, but Angelina is straight up ugly. And have you seen pics of her before she got the nose job and before she lost weight? Straight up corpse-y. She’s just effing gross.

Any time I’ve seen a magazine that has these different covers they offer ONE version in the store I’m in. Don’t they send different covers to different places? I don’t think they stock the shelves with different versions and then let people choose which one they’d rather have. I think this has a lot less to do with someone making a conscious decision to buy the “Jen” cover over the “Angie” cover and more to do with whatever stores had the “Jen” cover just happened to have more people willing to buy that magazine. I hate when peole skew stuff like that to make more drama than there really is.

my husband is a straight man, and he cannot stand angelina, many of his friends feel the same. they work in the industry and have worked with both jolie and aniston..they all prefer aniston. please do not sterotype what ALL STRAIGHT MEN would want.. cause you are wrong.

I’m not intimidated by Angelina’s anything! Yes she is beautiful but so what?? Not all women are THAT insecure. I happen to prefer Jen, nothing to do with ‘hating’ Angelina, it’s as simple as that.
And I agree with chellsbells- my husband doesn’t find Angelina attractive. In fact I seem to find her more attractive than he does.

Women are sheep and believe everything they read. The reality is that neither of these women is the girl next door, but that’s how Jen is marketed. I don’t find her in the least relatable and I find her interviews to be filled with the same banal nonsense. And to the women who will post that their husbands or boyfriends also find Jen to be more attractive: they are lying because they know how insecure you are.

Angelina Jolie is pretty at times. But she’s NOT gorgeous and people seem to hype her up alot (well, used to I should say). ALOT of the guys I work with prefer Jen over Angie bc Angie looks like a bobble head and looks to weigh about 80 lbs. Exact words “I’d do Jen over Angie anyday” is what I hear when these two women are brought up.
It all comes down to what each individual prefers. Some guys dig fat chicks, some like big butts, it has nothing to do with “our husband’s lying to us because we’re insecure”. SO please get over yourselves and stop saying that because we don’t like AJ that we’re jealous and insecure.

Please re-read my comment before attacking. I said I happen to find Angelina beautiful, my husband doesn’t. Surely he would agree with me if he felt the same? I mean, I’m already admitting it. Plus- I said I prefer Jennifer, not because of her beauty, just as a woman. Not all prefernces are based on looks. And you say jennifer’s interviews are the same and banal- well I’m pretty sick of Angelina’s constant contradictions “I’m very private, but I’ll tell you about my private life” yeah right!

I’ve been working in the biz. for years; I prefer Angelina because she has been doing charity for work for six years. I believe she has a good heart, even though her personality is on the crazy side. As far as Brad and Jen goes, both have a reputation for being quite self-absorbed w/ fragile egos.

I have been looking, haven’t seen either cover…really excited and looking forward to buying one with Jen on the front! I wonder if I will have to look hard to find it, if what Jen (the Original) says is true, and that stores just stock one version of the cover? Anyone know the answer?

I am a beautiful, confident woman and I love Angelina all the way!!! But for those women who seem to always take Jen’s side…hmmm…
