“The Artist” is being sued for 1 million dollars. He is being sued for some computer equipment that he purchased, but failed to pay for worth $12,000.00. Ian Lewis filed a the lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, claiming The Artist breached a contract by taking “several hard drives used for video production” and not paying for them.

He further claims the singer returned a loaned $25,000 computer “in a broken and un-fixable condition.”

I don’t know where you got the one million dollar figure, but that what he’s suing for stating it’s for “damages”.

$12,000.00 + $25,000.00 = Not one million.
