At Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood bash in L.A. September 26, the rapper, 30, who railed against MTV at the September 9 VMAs when he lost all five awards for which he was nominated, still held a grudge.
Us Reporters were stationed next to the MTV and VH1 camera crews on the red carpet, and when MTV attempted to film Kayne’s interview with Us, the rapper swatted away the MTV cameras, telling the cameraman and producer, “I have nothing against you, just your bosses.”
The producer protested, “I have nothing to do with that man,” but Kanye kept his hand over the lens during his entire interview with Us.

Jennifer Aniston will star alongside Aaron Eckhart in the Universal Pictures drama Traveling. Writer/producer Brandon Camp, who created the Fox series John Doe, will make his directorial debut on the project.
The story, written by Camp and his longtime partner Mike Thompson, is about a widower (Eckhart) whose book about grieving turns him into a phenomenon. Reinvented as a charismatic self-help guru, he falls for a woman (Aniston), who is a floral designer working at a Seattle hotel where he is holding a seminar, and is forced to confront the fact that he hasn’t come to grips with his own loss and practices none of the principles he teaches.
Aniston is currently shooting a small role in New Line’s Ken Kwapis-directed ensemble comedy She’s Just Not That Into You, which is being produced by Drew Barrymore and her Flower Films partner Nancy Juvonen. She will then move right into the Stephen Belber-directed Management with Steve Zahn. She is also set to star with Owen Wilson in Fox 2000’s David Frankel-directed Marley & Me, but that project has been postponed at least until spring.

Here he is on the set of his new movie, “Fighting” on September 26th. Personally, I’ve never thought he was cute.

Shakira is doing a good deed. Of course, while doing this deed, she is making me incredibly jealous that she is able to donate $40 million dollars to Solidarity Foundation that she co-founded with Gabriel Garcia Marquez. The money will be used to aid Peruvian earthquake victims, as well as hurricane suffering in Nicaragua. The singer herself went to visit the devastated areas and it touched her so much, she donated all that money.
She told press, “I’ve seen first-hand many of the challenges facing Latin America. These are challenging problems that no one person can address, but working together everyone can help make a difference.”

Ben Stiller says things are looking up for his longtime pal and frequent costar Owen Wilson.
“He’s doing really well,” Stiller, 41, tells Ellen DeGeneres on her show Friday.
“I sort of like to protect his privacy, ’cause I feel like it’s his own thing,” says Stiller. “But he’s a really good friend of mine. He’s an incredible guy and I wish him as everybody does, all the best.”
Wilson, 38, was set to begin shooting the comedy Tropic Thunder with Stiller this month, but was hospitalized on Aug. 26 for what police called a suicide attempt. He dropped out of the film after issuing a statement requesting that he be allowed to “receive care and heal in private during this difficult time.”
Wilson’s withdrawal from the project – which is about actors on a war movie location where a real battle erupts – was reportedly a mutual decision between him and Stiller, and Matthew McConaughey has stepped in to join the ensemble cast that includes Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr. and Nick Nolte.
Speaking at Thursday night’s Westwood premiere of his and his son’s latest movie, The Heartbreak Kid, Ben’s dad Jerry Stiller, 80, expressed concern for his son’s best friend and said he was “surprised” to hear of Wilson’s apparent suicide attempt – but he was sure that Wilson would “recover.”
“I know that he’ll put his life together,” the elder Stiller, who also costarred with Wilson in 2001’s Zoolander, told PEOPLE. He added that his son has been “very close to Owen for most of their careers,” and that Ben had been an “advocate” in “intervention and all that stuff.”

According to OK Magazine, American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee has gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend Nick Cokas, 42.
Her longtime boyfriend, Nick Cokas, proposed to the 23-year-old recently, but friends insist it wasn’t a big surprise. An insider tells American magazine OK!, “They’ve been talking about it (marriage) for some time.”
Best of luck to Katharine and Nick! I’ll be waiting impatiently for I Know What Boys Like and her new album–which according to her is going to be John Mayer-esque.
