Katherine McPhee is engaged!
According to OK Magazine, American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee has gotten engaged to her longtime boyfriend Nick Cokas, 42.
Her longtime boyfriend, Nick Cokas, proposed to the 23-year-old recently, but friends insist it wasn’t a big surprise. An insider tells American magazine OK!, “They’ve been talking about it (marriage) for some time.”
Best of luck to Katharine and Nick! I’ll be waiting impatiently for I Know What Boys Like and her new album–which according to her is going to be John Mayer-esque.

Umm she will live and learn?? I myself am a 25 year old woman who has been in a relationship with an older man the past 5 years of my life…and I couldn’t be happier, maybe she feels the same…what makes you think she’s going to have to “live and learn”?

I too have been in marriage “talks” for over a year with my boyfriend. We are sucking the fun out of it. Haha

I’m not trying to be a downer here, but I bet after they get married they will split after 6 months or so. 1) the age difference 2) waiting so long to get married. I’ve seen it happen over and over. Doesn’t make any sense, but it seems to be the cycle.

Yeah, I agree Blondey. She has issues, w/ her self esteem, I don’t think marriage is going to help it. I know sometimes older men put on the image of treating you better, but I hope it doesn’t back fire for her. *toilet
